Vero Photo Sharing App – Alternative Way To Share Action Camera Content

Vero Photo Sharing App

Action cameras for me are all about capturing great moments in life and sharing them with other people around the world.

It doesn’t matter which action cam you have from the latest GoPro to the DJI Action 2. Taking a great photo and uploading it to social media for all to see and appreciate is very rewarding.

Most of you will already be using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and so on, which all have their plus and minus points. Although some of these have become more commercial in recent years.

That brings me to the Vero photo sharing app. Vero has been around for some time now, but it’s recently caught the attention of high profile photographers such as Peter McKinnon

I watched Peter’s video on YouTube about Vero and decided to take a look for myself. So far I’ve been enjoying sharing photos from my GoPro cloud storage.

What Is Vero

In short Vero is a photo sharing app similar to Instagram. However there is no algorithm or adverts. This means you only see on your feed photos and videos from fellow creatives that you choose to follow.

If you’d like a deeper look into exactly what Vero is, Neil Patel goes into great detail.

Sharing Content

Not only can you share photos and videos. If you’re reading a book that you think may inspire, then tell people about it. Perhaps a film or TV show is grabbing your attention, then add the show to your catalogue via a link or photo.

Share From Your Action Camera

Sharing directly from the GoPro Quik app to Vero is possible. Install Vero onto your smartphone and tap the share icon. Select the 3 dots and you’ll find Vero in the app sharing list.

Share To Vero From Lightroom

I edit all of my photos taken using my GoPro, Insta360 and DJI action cameras in Adobe Lightroom.

Lightroom offers far more photo editing features than just the basic filters, contrast and color sliders found in the action camera mobile apps.

If you really want to grab people’s attention with your photos, editing the photos with Lightroom really will help you do that.

Final Thoughts

I really just wanted to bring to my readers attention this exciting app that’s becoming more popular within the creative community.

Currently Vero is free to download to iOS and Android users and desktop. Why not take a peak and start sharing your action camera content with fellow photographers.
