Ultra Long Selfie Stick – Insta360 X3 Action Camera Walk
360 cameras are mounted onto selfie sticks the majority of time. It’s good to have a range of sticks in your accessories kit. This includes an ultra long selfie stick for drone style shots.
I recently took the new Insta360 X3 360 action camera for a walk with the X3 mounted onto the Telesin 2.7 metre selfie stick.
The video footage of the walk is on my YouTube channel. The video demonstrates the effectiveness of a very long selfie stick and the X3. There’s also an embedded video link of the video on this article page (see below).
I’ve written a full review of the Telesin selfie stick for those who would like to know what it’s like to use with a 360 camera. If you’re considering a shorter stick the 1.26 metre invisible stick from Insta360 is definitely worth considering.
360 Video Stitch Line
If you take a look at the close up image below. The X3 does a great job of stitching out the selfie stick.
A small amount of “stitch line” is evident on my lower arm but you wouldn’t notice this when reframed with me in the centre of frame.

Camera Settings
The video was filmed in 5.7k resolution at 30 frames per second. I filmed the video clips in HDR mode as it was a bright sunny day.
Sharpness was set to medium and the bit rate set to high with a standard color profile.
I hope you enjoy the video. Let me know what you think, leave a comment below. Thanks.
